Fog light problems. Help.

On my way to work this morning I pulled the switch for my fog lights and got nothing. The light on the instrument panel didn't even light up. Headlights worked just fine.

I checked the connections and the fuse just a bit ago when I got home. Both are fine. Anyone ever had this same problem? Could it be the switch or the relay?

TIA

Its pretty common for those switches to fail. That's most likely your problem. it may be cheaper to wire a separate switch than replacing the multifunction stalk

I was hoping someone wouldn't answer like that. Would I be able to wire the switch using the factory connections and wiring or will I have to run all new wiring?

Just a suggestion, but you could test each lead to ground with an ohmmeter just to make sure you didn't fry a conductor. When I bought mine the fog lights didn't work. Turns out there was no fuse in the spot, the lights weren't plugged into the switch AND one of the wires was bad.

If it is only the switch, you can use the factory wiring and just splice in a wire with a switch connected to your power

could be the relay if the switch is bad in a tj it normally stays on. the contact in the switch is a peace of copper cant see it going bad. the relay is under the hood. good luck
