Question Fog light question

I have a Wrangler sport and my fog lights started to always stay on, even when the ignition was turned off and key removed. taking out the bulbs slowed the battery from draining, but there is still a short someplace as the fog light indicator on the dash remained lit even when the fog light switch was in the off position. placing the turn signal in the left or right position cleared the indicator light, untill just recently. Now its always on. any suggestions ? please don't tell me I have to replace the turn, headlight switch asembly.

thanks

Greg

Check the relay for the fog lights sounds like it might be stuck.

And if that doesn't fix it, I'm not telling you what has to be replaced.
Very common problem, and yep you guessed what most likely is bad.
But I'm not telling you that.

Your turn signal switch could be going bad too. Your fog light switch is on the end of the turn signal switch right? That is where I would look to next. It is common
