Fog light wire guage?

I'm trying to install a Rampage tube bumper on my 03 Rubicon. I went to unplug the connectors for the fog lights and both seem stuck. Any suggestions? I don't want to break them...

Also, I need to extend the wiring so they will reach the center of the new bumper. Anyone know what guage the wires are? They look 12-14 but I don't want any shortage problems...

It's tiny, 16 or 18. And just keep trying. Mine were stuck with road gunk. A screwdriver is your friend. Maybe spray some sort of electric cleaner on it?

Ya, I'm using a small screwdriver now but I figure I need to lengthen the wires so I may just clip them, swap the bumper, add quick disconnects to the new wire ends and call it good...Think I'll use a better wire cover too cuz the stock plastic ones are cracked and brittle (never seen that before with this material).

16 gauge should be fine, they are only 55 watts & don't draw much current.

I went out and bought a spool of 18g wire. I'm guessing that will be fine. Thanks for the info guys.

I just looked on the schematic & the factory used 18 gauge wire there so yep you'll be fine.

Perfect...Now I have to go replace my T55 Torx socket cuz the one sears sold me yesterday just completely failed and now the stock bumper is hanging on by half a bolt. Anyone know the replacement size? I just googled it and got a bunch of random crap...ah...those frustrating moments where you just want to take a BFH to something!

Size of what? The bumper bolts? 1/2x13 Grade 5 or Grade 8.
