fog light wiring question

I just received my set of piaa 520i lights and piaa recommends wiring the turn on switches power to the low beams so its legal, but wouldn't that only let the lights turn on when i have the low beam running. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to wire in the 12v to the switch for the turn on power? I think that my jeep has the wiring for the factory fogs but it did not come with fog lights so i'm not sure if it has the wires. i have the rampage H-4 conversions with a low beam only hid kit so could i tap into that easily? Does anyone have any tips on installing the piaa easy tap connector and where to tap it into to power the switch

Just run the wiring to the battery and up through everything with a relay to a switch. Who cares about the lights on only with the low beams

I wired my driving lights to work with the high beams but in NJ they have to turn off when the high beams are on to pass state inspection so I rig it for inspection then put it back to the way I want it. Check your state regulations.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but you want to run the lights and have the option to be on either with the high beams or low beams... correct? I assume the kit came w/ a relay. Run the power off the battery, and the 'switched wire' off the parking lamps. I've got mine set up this way so that I don't accidentally leave my fogs on. When the parking lamps are off, the fogs are off. When the park lamps are on, like they are w/ both high and low beams, the fogs can be operated. I leave my fog switch on all the time, and just operate it from the headlamp switch.
