My factory fog lights (03 Wrangler Sport) apparently died. The light indicator on the dashboard doesn't even come on when I try to turn them on. I just put in a new relay and still nothing. I have a feeling I'll need to replace the entire light control arm by the steering wheel. Any suggestions in trying to avoid going to the dealership? Thank you!
I would just suggest going to the junkyard/scrapyard to see if you can find one in a wrecked Jeep first... Mine actually went bad the other way in mine, they would ocme on by themselves. So I just pulled the fuse and took the lights off with my new front bumper.

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!
Khenderson is absolutely right about rewiring. To ame a rewire simple, you can purchase a two light KC Hilites heavy duty wiring kit from Quadratec for about $20 which is easier than buying the individual compnents. The kit includes switch, fuse, connectors, cable ties, and heavy duty wiring. Hope this helps.

The same thing happened to my 2002 wrangler, that fog lights would not turn on or the fog indicator. It was my switch on the turning signal stick. I just pulled the switch on and off a lot of times and eventully it just turned on. I guess it was just build up in the switch that was restricting connection. TRY IT!
I just got a 99 TJ Sport and I'd like to put fog lights on and use one of the three empty spots on my lower center dash for the switch.
I'm curious if anyone has had success putting an after-market switch in this location (KC or otherwise)? If not what suggestions would you suggest?
I have had success with that out of pure dumb luck. The switch came in a set of trail lights from autozone. Couldn't find the switch anywhere seperately but it fits nicely in the OEM slot (Hopefully they didnt change the switches in the set). Went ahead and baught 3 sets for the switches and the spare lights. Have the box at home will post a pic of what they look like in the dash and the name and sku when i get home.
Looks like with the proper cutting tool I can make the final outcome very "factory".
No cutting tool needed with these switches, just take the blanks out and insert the switches in they fit perfectly. But like I said I couldn't find the switches except for in that set. You will need to take the factory switch cover off to get the blanks out though.
