Just bought a 2001 Sahara. It has factory installed fog lights and a relay switch installed in the power distribution box. The rocker switch simply is not there and the panel where it should be has not been punched out or disturbed. I dismanteled the dash and there are no wires where the switch wires should be- nothing...Any ideas what is going on here?
You all suck...I have the switch and no fog lights. Of course my switch is going bad and was randomly kicking on the fog light indicator in my instrument cluster so I ended up pulling the fuse for the fog lights. lol

You are correct except the light switch has to be in the on and low beam position, then pull out on it. A light in the dash shows the fog lights are on. However, my fog lights are still not actually on- but I am very close- must be a fuse or bad wire. firstname.lastname@example.org

I don't need my low beams on for the fogs to work. Just the running lights. And if the switch is in the high beam postion, but the headlights aren't on, the fogs still work with just the running lights.

'04 sport-when my fog light switch went bad that was the issue I ran into. Lights would turn themselves off and on randomly. Pulled fuse till I could chase wires. Chased clear back to switch at end of turn signal. Stealer wanted too much for OEM switch with turn signal. Unable to locate switch/turn signal for less than $200. So used wiring harness under hood on drivers side and ran positive from battery with toggle switch inside jeep, cost less than $20. Looks fine with my KC slimlite switch next to it. Good Luck!
