Footspa in Passenger Footwell

Travelling home today in fairly heavy rain today and my good Lady's feet were getting the rainwater footspa treatment.

The drip appears to be coming from the bottom of the dash below the glove box. To be fair, not a huge amount of water.

I seem to recall reading somewhere about a fairly common fault with TJ's that causes this (vent cowl, wiper studs?)

Can anyone advise please?

(Bear in mind that this is a RHD model built for the UK market)

You can try to have someone hose it down while you look under the passenger firewall. Check the cowl vent drain plug for blockage and also water seeping through the heater core housing on the firewall.

I have water coming in on mine also and the cowl drain is clear, I think mine is from the drain tube on the air conditioner. It comes in with the air on and not raining.
