I just wanted to thank everyone here at wrangler forum for the way yall treat people. Yes there may be an occasional joke that some people take the wrong way but all and all this is a quality forum filled with people that genuinely care and help others out. Other forums are not like this, i am also part of 240sxForums and got hella flamed on for asking a question about where to buy a engine from japan. I asked them why they flame on everyone and they said because they dont like newbs posting things that have been asked a million times and i should have looked on google first not to mention there was plenty of engines for sale on the forum. I told them i could understand that but 1) im not a newb 2) i looked on google and all that came up was ebay and those middle man web sites and 3) i wasnt looking for a engine that some turd had dogged the crap out of and now wanted to get rid of it. Needless to say i got flamed more for sticking up to the big bad haters. My profile just got locked for a month because the last person to flame me for sticking up to them was one of the moderators aka "official forum sheriff" and even he started to hate on me because the main guy that was flaming on me was a premiere member with a million posts and rep power. I didnt like this so kinda lost my temper and cussed him out lol so they locked my profile
anyways like i was saying thanks for not being 240sxForums and keep up the good work moderatiors
Glad you like our forum. The mods do a great job making sure that things stay civil and we always welcome newbs. When I first started here, I thought the issues I had with my Jeep were unique to me and not as common as they are. My questions were answered thourghly and quickly without flamming. That is the biggest reason I stuck around here and continue to come back. I am a member of a couple of other Jeep related forums, but I spend most of my forum time here.
I agree with you. There is a healthy spirit on this forum that some don't have.
I can't understand this "flaming" business, anyway. Seems that some that wouldn't dare come up with some of that garbage face to face would hide behind their keyboard out in cyberland and flame away. I guess it's their one opportunity to be the turd they always wanted to be but just didn't have the guts.
Good post brokenarrow33, thanks for your service to our country, and way to go WF!
Never argue with idiots......they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.
License to kill gophers by the government of the United Nations. Man, free to kill gophers at will. To kill, you must know your enemy, and in this case my enemy is a varmint. And a varmint will never quit - ever. They're like the Viet Cong - Varmint Cong. So you have to fall back on superior intelligence and superior firepower. And that's all she wrote.
I been driving Jeeps for many years and have come to realize that folks who drive jeeps are for the most part in real life as they are on this forum. A few years back I had a problem with my Jeep out on the beach at OBX and pulled off out of the way and threw the hood up. I must have had 6 or 7 jeeps pull up and offer to help me. I could have overhauled the thing with all the tools and bandaids these people where carrying. Thats just how Jeeper are...Thats why we wave at each other.
Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
I don't know about you guys, but I can never extract the info I need with the search feature. Maybe it's just me! What's nice is that I can post a question even if it has been asked before and get answers without being flamed or told that I should have searched for it first. The members of this forum personify what the Jeep lifestyle and family are all about.

When I got my first Jeep back in 95, it took me a while to figure out why people were honking and waving...lol. Me, not being the brightest crayon in the box, took a while to realize that these were all other Jeeps. Sure there are some that just drive a Jeep, but I would say for the most part you are right. The Jeep doesn't make the person, but rather it's a unique personality that is drawn to the Jeep.
I'm also new and on many other forums for other things. I would like to chime in with my applause for the laid back helpful atmosphere here as well. You guys all rock!
I have to agree about the forum. When I was new (still kinda green I would say) ppl still treated my old new questions wiff respect. The greatest thing is when some takes the time to point out an old thread I hadnt seen. As to the Mini-Sports car forum....thats kinda simple.....
Not all of course...but lots o children of all ages drive those
Mostly adults drive JeePs...if they werent a lil bit mature...most would be a the bottom of a ravine somewhere....hmm...Ive done that........argg..Maybe I am still a noob
gotta love those sports cars... they build them to do 1G turns and 200 mph but ultimately cant do more than 80 tops or they will get a ticket wherever they go.
we build jeeps to go even slower than stock and still suck down the gas because of our huge tires and what we build them to do can be found just off the highway how many sports car guys you see actually going to the race track? autocross or whatever... how many jeeps you see in the woods ?? nuff said GO WF
