I've been looking for some cheap half doors for a while and found these on craigslist. They guy said he bought them for a CJ7 but they are actually for a newer jeep. Even if they're for a YJ do you think I could make them fit on my TJ? I was also going to paint them with bed-liner since my TJ is yellow...Good idea? Oh yeah the are only $50 sooo...
Looks like they're for a YJ. I believe they'll fit on your TJ but won't latch. They use a different type of latching mechanism and the handle on the inside is too far forward to open from the inside without modification. Sell them off and keep looking for another pair
Here is a link to a write up about how you can make CJ/YJ doors work on a TJ. It is for full doors, but I'm sure a lot of the same things would have to be done to make it work. Good Luck
