A cheap one off ebay, not sure if it helps or not. It was fun even in the little mud there was. My cousin said last weekend this place was covered in mud. Its ok though, my jeep, the tacoma, and gmc 2500 had fun out there. We did see an old no trespassing sign.... but the only mud down there was past it. As you could see in the pics, we were behind an orchard.

Trespassing is trespassing.Thats why so many places are getting shut down. Not all but some people living in the city think that because they have a 4 wheel drive they can go anywhere without permission. And its just not city dwellers. It just doesn't end with land a lot of people don't have respect for anything and think they can just take or destroy what they want. I pay property taxes I own land and I respect others not only other landowners but the property and rights of others.I wouldn't think of just taking off through someones field without permission.Dude I don't live on American Indian soil.I live on American soil paid for by our forefathers blood and sweat.

I hate to be technical but that land was also paid by our red forefathers blood and tears (for some of us). Anyway, I see your point. It's never a good idea to go onto someone's land without permission.

Sorry in today's world the "I have a right to be somewhere" excuse can no longer exist. I put more time and energy into promoting and securing the right to recreate on public lands than anyone else on here other than Hackle. I have the right to say and will say that WF does not and will not support the sport of Wildcatting to get some wheeling in. If there are no trespassing signs and one doesn't have permission of the land owner to utilize their property then they have no right to be there no matter how anyone's fore fathers fought for something.

Trying contacting the land owner if you'd like to wheel on his land. Being responsible and having some simple conversation might actually surprise you and you might find that they aren't opposed to letting people use it as long as they take care of it and don't leave a mess.

Please read the last sentence of my post, thanks. I have never, and never will, trespass onto someone else's property.

Sorry OC if you thought I was ripping into you. I actually should not have quoted a post at all in my comments. I just work too hard at securing the right to 4wheel in the future to let situations like this go by the way side.

Alright thanks. I was just making a tongue in cheek kind of comment to begin with. Maybe next time I won't.

There was no actual property line, just a random 10"x10" sign wrapped around a tree. It was almost too battered to read. It was hard to tell whether the area we were in was the all access feather river area, or someone's land. If it was someone's land, he should get a fence or put up more signs.

It doesn't matter if there are signs or not .It is your responsability to make sure that you are wheeling leagaly.

shouldn't have to put up a fence if he doesn't need to, you should have enough respect to get out of your rig and read the sign... if not then don't complain when you get shot. if you don't see signs you shouldnt have any problems.

Heres one of the reasons I get bent out of shape on issues of not respescting others property and such.We picked these up on a recent wheeling trip. This is a legal wheeling trail. There are 2 sections one is 3.5 miles long the other is 8.We picked these up when we stopped. This truck bed of my friends was empty except for the ramps and the tow strap at the beginning of our ride.

I agree about the garbage, I would never leave anything on someones property, or on any trails. As far as property goes, they need to make it known where there property ends, and where river beach begins. we were only 30 feet from the feather river. If I can't tell if its private property, I'm gonna go through the mud, although I would never disrespect the land private or otherwise in any way
