There was a thread about this on another forum and the owner chimmed in and stated his story.

to sum it up.

Was driving down the trail in a group. Others drove around. He believe he could drive over it when he did see it at last moment. Well it was not flat on the ground. As he approached it it went above the axle and straight through the floor panel into the passager compartment. It would of likely not going into the floor panel if it was not held up by the axle.

Dam was the guy alright? Similar thing happened to a guy I knew many years ago. He was going to fast down a dead end street, hit the curb at the end and launched! The car came down on a wood fence and a 4x4 fence post came up vertically through the floor and driver seat between his legs. A couple more inches and he would have been unable to procreate! The idiot destroyed a nice '71 340 Dart in the process.

I agree.. As is usually the case with bone-headed stunts like I discribed above alcohol was involved. BTW I am NOT insinuating alcohol was a factor with the Jeeper mentioned above.
