frame rot, c-channel versus plates...

need to do some frame work, not sure which way to go. was told welding plates on either side of the frame is stronger than c channel and better for off roading, this true?

the bracket that holds my rear brake line in place rotted off. so I plugged up the hole and now am only using front brakes. is it the box spring also? ugh.

pretty sure these are what I need:

That looks like a nice set of brackets. I strongly recommended not driving your jeep until the rear brakes are hooked up though. You may not be worried about your own safety but think of all the other people on the road around you.
