Frameless top?

Have been looking for a new top and I heard seen the frameless top and I'm not sure about it. Is it easy to put down and up ?

If you are talking about the Rampage top you just zip out the side and rear windows and have a bikini top. You could remove the entire top but it does not fold down like the factory soft top.

Love my Rampage top BTW

I've had the trektop NX for a year & love it. Recently sold my hardtop with no regrets.

I have the Trektop NX as well, and love it. I have only had it a few weeks, and haven't removed it completely, but for my daily driver the sunrider feature works wonderfully to open it up on a nice drive home....

X2^. For NX Trektop. Great safari cover, great cover with rear detached and rolled up, great top with sunrider -meaning fold-back-sunroof feature. Also, all buttoned up it works very well in hard rain showers weather.

I am getting the NX for my LJ. I'm so tired of the frame and the pins and blah blah blah. Seems like it's just one thing after another with it

Can you use the frameless tops for a 1988 Jeep Wrangler YJ?

I am about to buy either the Rampage or the Trektop NX myself. Quality wise is there much difference ?

im considering the rampage my self. just went wheeling with a guy that had on and i left my soft top windows at home and it started raining and he just pulled his windows out frum the little flap and ziped them in and i had no idea that it wasn't a bikini top. I FELL IN LOVE WITH HIS TOP. So i started doing some research and found this thread and just wanted to say that i recomend the rampage top. he said he loved it and wont go back to a frame top.

love love love mine! i have a rampage. i love that the back windows can be stored on the top of the jeep and has a bas to keep them from rubbing against each other.

only downside ive found is that really tall ppl 6'3"+ dont have the most room. but i just tell them they can off road in there car and they shut up
