As a lot of you know, I'm building up my jeep. No I'm not leaving it stock as I just can't leave well enough alone :happyyes:

Now that I chosen my rear LOD tire carrier / bumper, which front bumper did you guys choose and why?

If you have pics that you would like to share, that would be great.

I like a nice built with gussets and well built look

It would also need a place to house my warn XD9000i

Any info would help me decide quicker.

I would look at a winch ready bumper. No winch plate needed.
I replaced a Smitty Classic bumper and RC winch plate with a JCR Dagger stubby bumper. I have a XD9000i too.

I like it, but I think they have changed the design a little to accommodate the wider Warn Xeon winches. Of course the price went up with the redesign. They have a few styles to choose from.

I also really like KD Fabworks winch bumper. It uses the 2 front sway bar bolts as well as the top 4 bumper bolts.

JCR

Smitty Classic and RC plate.

Im running the Poison Spyder BFH with brawler bar also. The only thing I had to add was a fairlead mounting plate as the Engo winches don't come with the fairlead mount setup on the winch itself like some brands do.
When you install the PS bumper be sure to install the winch on it before mounting the bumper on your Jeep. Once the bumpers mounted you cant access the winch mounting bolts, at least on my 01 TJ. Which is a great theft deterrant by the way.

When I got my jeep recently it did not have a front bumper picked this one up off ebay for a little over $200 and it has built in which plate and mounts for lighting installed in about 15 min haha no issues with holes lining up seems well built and welds are nice and clean, messing around and to test the dlinks I pulled another jeep with a strap and it held together with no issues

Savvy Offroad Aluminum, which also has a built-in winch mount... aluminum bumper rock crawling crawler TJ LJ UCF

It's not cheap but it's 6061 T6 aluminum (strong) which means it is lighter, and it saves from having to pay extra for a winch mount. Not to mention it's made to not get hung up on tough trails.
