Front directional bulb keeps dying

Just like the title says. I've replaced the front left turn signal bulb twice. It last about 2 weeks each time I replace it and then pops... Bad ground? I'm going to clean the terminal up and I think I'm going to replace the fuse/relay that goes to the turn signals... Any other ideas?

Could it somehow be getting wet when it's hot? My wife's rear tail light kept popping and I discovered its lens cover was broken letting water in at the car wash. The cold water against the hot bulb was causing it to crack and fail.

That's the same problem I've been having with the drivers side front. I replaced the socket and pigtail a little over a year ago and ignored a friend's advice to drill drainage holes to allow water to escape. Well, I had to replace again last weekend because water buildup corroded the socket connections again. I got the replacements off of eBay both times. This time, I drilled drainage holes. They are socket/pigtail all in one so you need to splice/solder/heatshrink to install.

Get an LED replacement and it will never burn out.

I'll do that when I relocate them to the grill after getting new fenders. Doesn't LED require a new flasher or something though?
