No problem there at all. Many have blown their rear driveshafts while offroading and have driven home and around until they could get their rear driveshaft repaired.

Thanks Jerry, I dropped the front of the front drive shaft and simply replaced the boot with one that I bought from the dealer $18.00. I thought more work was involved. I was going to take it to a driveline shop (not necessary).

P.S. PM me if you are going to be in the Borrego area over the Christmas holiday. We will be out there from the 18th-1st. Grant and Dakota

did you mark the splines? so it was properly clocked when you put it back together? a buddy of mine replaced his boot and had it almost 180* off

No Badass I didn't, I left it in gear figuring there was only one way for the splines to line up and then the U joints would have to line up as well and they did. Drove it and all is good. Thanks for the response.

The two halves of a driveshaft have to be oriented so the u-joints at both ends are "in phase" with each other. That just means the two halves of the driveshaft have to be put back together so the u-joints at both ends are at the same angle. Even being one spline off when reassembling the two driveshaft halves will produce front driveshaft vibrations. If the front driveshaft is not vibrating while you drive, it's good to go.
