Front drive shaft

I pulled my front drive shaft out to put new ujoints and a cv joint, once that was done i went to put it back in and i cant get any of the four bolts to start on the end by the t-case. what am i doin wrong? lol i mean i just installed my 4" suspension lift a couple of weeks ago, and now i cant even put a drive shaft back in. Funny huh. but anyways if any of you guys have some advice id greatly appreciate it.

try to start the bolts with out the drive shaft or anything there in the way.. might be the wrong bolts and you mixed them up? Start them just to make sure everything is in top shape and you didnt mess up any threads.

Trip has good advice for once.

And if you need the yoke turned, put the t-case in neutral and rotate it.

already tried the bolts and there fine, and i tried with it in neutral that was the first thing that came to my mind.... but good advice, i think its because im not gettin everything aligned properly, sure is aggrevating. I just really want to get the drive shaft back on so i can take some wheelin pics with my new lift and quick discos on.

are you installing the t-case end first? Install the axle end first and then the t-case side. Be sure the t-case is in neutral so that you can align as best as you can. Spray down the yoke with some cleaner if you have to. Just take your time.

Also - the front drive shaft does compress and expand a bit, so you might need to pull it to make it reach and seat properly. I forgot about that once on my XJ.

Took it out and went to put it back.. "How in the hell did it shrink two inches!?"
