anyone here taken off the front fender peice that runs along the bottom of the jeep?

its the ''extra extension'' type peice behind the front fender.

i was thinking about taking mine off.. just wondering if someone has already done it and has a pic i could see.

thanks

im talking about the stock tj fenders by the way.

also, are there going to be holes there if i take it off?

do you have a pic of one with them off? its too obscure to search for it on google.. i couldnt get it to come up with anything.

why are those extensions there? they seem to pack with snow easily... plus they look weird. its it to keep the tires from slinging stuff on the side of the jeep?

with them off do they sling stuff on the sides really bad?

sorry for all the questions. but thats why i joined a jeep forum!

not the best picture but it'll give you a idea.

my jeep is a 2000 and the paint was/is worn underneath where the little flare was.
