Front Fender/Stone Guards for 2006 Rubicon with stock flares.

Hi all,

New owner of a 2006 rubicon here. I wanted to know if anyone could point me to some fender/stone guard bodyarmor that will fit well with my stock fender flares. I tried rugged ridge, and they wouldn't fit. Anyone try the bushwacker stuff with stock flares? If so, would anyone care to post a couple pics? Thanks!

'preciate it. I guess there is a difference in the size of the stock rubicon tj flares and the non-rubicon models. I'm looking for hardened plastic, not metal, black diamond pattern.

Just to be sure you are talking about the bushwacker trail armour???

And also yes there is a differance in the Fender Flare with from a standard TJ and a Rubicon. the standard TJ flare is 3'' wide and the rubi flare is 4'' wide.

If the product you are talking about is the same as the picture I posted, The front 3 pieces, 1 for the hood and 1 for each fender. It doesn't matter what flare you have. It will work with either flare.

Or are you talking about the rocker gaurd, that goes under the door and between the two flares? Also seen in the pic.

I'm referring to the fender guards. Do you know if there is a gap between the guard and the fenders when using stock flares? When I tried the rugged ridge fender guards, they came down too far, as though they were designed for a smaller flare. Thanks again!
