Front license plate

Does anyone here have a front plate on their factory bumper? I want to mount my plate to it but I'm having a hard time finding something that will hold it on there. The holes seem to big. Just wondered if anyone could help.

I have mine mounted to the front bumper (stock). check your screw size to make sure they match up or buy the license plate mounts from a local parts store. that will provide you with a mounting bracket and screws. if all else fails use some zip-ties and trim off the extra plastic.

Go to WalMart. They have license plate mounting kits that have screws and inserts. If all else fails, just use two small machine screws with nuts on the backside.

Velcro, magnetic tape, I got two or three of them around, we keep buying jeeps in NJ and CT and don't need front plates in PA.... The hole are bigger for plastic inserts that normally pop in then as you screw the plate in they expand like a plastic wall molly..

2x.. just buy 1/4-20 3/4" long screws with nuts and some washers and you'll be perfectly set. No need for a license plate holder or anything of that sort..

Or you can just go to the dealer and pick up the little plastic things and screws that go in the front bumper for that. Set you back about fifty cents.

2 bolts and nuts and washers cost about 5 cents each so you'll be ~30 cents back.

You have to love everyone on here...I would have suggested going to Harbor Freight and buy a $700 welder and then weld the license plate on the front bumper. Set you back about 7 bills.

Or my Jeep would have been stolen and I would have to explain to the Insurance company why my license plate was worth $700.

Hell, here in GA my license plate for my jeep is worth $280.00, that is how much it cost me this year to renew the tag.

My method while not cheap certainly is practical. Use mag light clips on the roller fairlead. You did want a reason to buy that winch didnt you?
