front rotors

Well the dealer i bought my 99 from put on new shoes and pads but it still has a pretty worn looking set of non cast rotors. So I don't want to replace them righ now but when I do i was woundering if sloted and drilled rotors help on a jeep.

Ya but i was asking about sloted and drilled rotors. That thread is about regular rotors.

In one of Jerry's comments, he said those types of rotors are useless. That is what I have always heard, as well.

Cross-drilled and slotted rotors are really only good for high speed stoping, mainly for heat disipation, but on a Jeep they are a waste. A decen set or quality rotors is all that is needed.
