Front Seat Tilt Question???

I couldn't get my passenger seat to tilt forward. The seat back reclines and folds forward, not the whole thing. I found the release under the seat and looked for a loose cable or something. It doesn't look like it can even accommodate a cable. Did some of the earlier TJs not have the cable attached to the nylon pull or seat lever or is it just plain missing and I didn't see the attachment point?

Thanks!!!

The cable is probably broken, but there is a manual lever under the seat to fold and tumble the seat.

+1. the lever is on the front left of the passenger seat near the floor. Push it down while pulling the back of the seat forward. PITA, but it's cheaper than the replacement cable from the stealership. I still have a bike cable in my toolbox because I'm meaning to DIY fix mine.

Found the lever, didn't see any cable or anyplace to connect one.

That's because it's now pulled up inside of the seat. You'll need a new cable which the last I heard was running for $45 at the dealer. FOR A BIKE CABLE basically!

I see. Have to look again. $45, bah!! I could have a cable made somewhere for half that or less.

There's a DIY fix out there somewhere. If I find it, I'll post the link for you.
