Fuel Door question

Im looking in to buying a rampage or ruggid ridge locking fuel door. But after looking at them, i noticed the door is relatively small. Anybody using this and having problems at the pump getting the nozzle in?

To me, it just dont look like it would be easy to get the nozzle in.

Not the answer you're looking for, but I bought a locking gas cap at AutoZone for $13 that works great. Yeah there's no door but the locking cap is still better than the stock cap.

i just wanted to make sure i wouldn't run into any problems. it would suck to go fill up and the nozzle not go in.

Out of curiosity... why? As far as I know the way the tanks are designed you can't siphon gas out of them (or at least, maybe you can put its difficult enough to not be worth it). I've tried on mine and struggled for a bit with no success. There was a flap valve inside that made it difficult to insert a hose, and the filler tube had a bend(s?) in it making it difficult or impossible to get the hose down in the tank.

The only down side is if you do any hard core wheeling, the fuel door can get bent rubbing against things and might be hard to open. Other than that, I don't think it's a bad idea at all.
