Fuel Gauge

It was working fine and accurate. Now it stays on 1/2 tank even when filled to the rim.

Not sure if it will read lower than that cause I havent burned it down that low yet (lately). I dont drive it much so it will be awhile before I can tell. Fuel pump works fine no issues doesn't sing or anything. Is this a harbinger of things to come?

Any tricks to check that sending unit without dropping the tank?

You could cut thru your tub. Dropping the tank would be easier.

I've read several posts related to this type of thing and usually the first suggestion is to clean the contacts on the gauge itself.
