Full Side Fenders??

Has anyone ever seen/heard of full side fenders?

I think It would look preeetttty neat to have flat fenders running from front to rear and also running boards, all in one.

Anyone else think this is a good idea?

My buddy and I have been talking about fabricating custom fenders for my Jeep.. and this may be an option of mine...

Hopefully you get the picture I'm trying to paint here.

I get what you mean. I saw some jeep that had tube fenders that ran down and turned into boatside rockers. I thought it was a pretty neat idea...

yeah kinda like that but instead of going in where the rockers would be, just have it keep going flat.

Cool idea in theory but I'm curious how it'd handle at max flex. I heard the frame/tub has a tendency to twist a little bit at max flex and this might cause problems??

Could be a cool idea. Have front tube fenders with lets say a 4 inch flare. They blend into some rocker guards and have the tube that sticks out a bit like a step on the bottom then blending into the rear tube flares.
