Next summer im thinking of swapping a 4bt into my 05 lj rubi, 6 speed, 35's. im currently running a 4 inch suspension lift and a 1.25 inch body lift. id like to keep all the stock gauges working so id keep the computer in. and for the tach id use either the hesco adapter or something else. im also planning on putting a larger radiator and efan, frame brace under the engine bay, using a cut down center exit 6bt exhaust manifold.
if i do the swap i think i will end up using the ford 4bt, taking the stock ford adapter off and getting and adapter off of a 6bt. this will allow me to run the dodge nv4500, then keeping the rest of my stock drivetrain stock as the nv4500 will bolt up to my nvg241or tcase.
what else is needed to do the swap and how do i find out what gearing i would need (or if stock 4.10 is okay)? thanks
