06 Rubicon --of course air lockers on both axles. Anyway, this one sat a lot and had very low miles. When I first tried the lockers they were VERY slow to lock and unlock on both axles. Had to replace a front axle oil seal--both were done--anyway checked the lockers to make sure all was good--it was.
Decided to "exercise" the lockers on a regular schedule to see what happens. Where I get my gas has a dirt area just behind it so everytime I get gas I go to the dirt and actuate the lockers.
After about 4 fillups I noticed the lockers were quickly engaging and disengaging--a whole lot better than when I started. Now almost immediately engaging and disengaging. Think I will keep it up as exercising mine seems to make a significant difference in the time needed to both engage and disengage. YRMV.
