FYI on buying individual PA Body Pucks

If anyone else is as ignorant as me, here is the site to buy individual Body pucks from Performance Accessories... 1" to 3" high and 2 & 3 " diameter...

Lets hope you need it from hard core 4 wheelin and not lack of brains

only thing that bothers me is that they sell individual pucks knowing that you'll need to replace them. Not to good if you ax me.

I bought my body lift like that
I got all the pucks for $20 and the bolts were $5 and the transfer case shift linkage drop was free I already had the steel I just cut it to size and drilled the holes

so my 1" body lift had a total cost of $30

Is it necessary to get the 3" diameter or will the 2" work fine?

No idea but my BL kit had 2 3" diameter ones between the rear tires.

How many are there? 11? and you think I would need 2 of the 3" inch diameter.? What else would I need, other than bolts obviously, to piece together a 1" body lift?

I would go with the 3" ones because (to me) more diameter means more stability and disperses the weight more as opposed to having 1" less. Hope that made at least some sense.

Wow. I knew (felt) I was paying too much for simple spacers and hardware....(i just received the 1" kit)......but kinda figured..."Hey...someone already figured it out...so I don't have to"... But seeing these for $1.95 a piece........that just makes me feel stupid.... Oh well. (i don't want to look.......can you even get the Hardware or replacement?)

The kit said to use the 3" pucks on the sides... There are 11 in all.

I know how you feel NY94, someone could put together a basic body lift for about $40

i dont know if 3" pucks will fit underneath the doors as from memory the mounts caved in. I know 2" pucks fit in great.

so then 7 3" diameter pucks, and 4 2" will work? or do you think it would be ok to just get all 2"

6 3" pucks
5 2" pucks

To be honest I don't know why PA included a larger diameter puck as the 2" would work fine like Triple said... The rubber parts are no wider than then the rest under the doors... Maby more stability??

well the 3" are for stability but the problem is some might not fit as they are too big while some body mounts cave in.
