Gas Mileage

As I have just purchased a 2002 Wrangler 4WD Automatic with 8"lift, what type of gas mileage can I expect?

That's the funniest joke I've heard in a long time.

what size tires? what gearing? id expect something like 10mpg with 8" of lift but the tires and such will need to be factored in, i have a 4" lift with 33" tires and 4.10 gearing, i get about 15-18 depending on what im doing, and mine is a 5spd which i drive like a granny

I've got a factory stock 03 Rubicon with a 6 cyl 5 speed and 4:11 gears and I get 15 in town, and 17.5 on the highway. My 97 TJ with 4cyl 5 speed, 4:88 gears, 7" lift, and 35x12.50's only gets about 10 miles per gallon city, and 12-13 on the highway.

i have an 06. 4.0 with 6 speed. 7.25" of lift, 35s, stock 3.73's. some exhaust mods. nothing else that really affects mileage. whether i have the ac on or i drive with a heavy foot, baby it, or drive on the highway it is usually all around 9 mpg. depending on where i get my gas it can be worse. when i get gas at wawa, it can go down by as much as 2 mpg, roughly 35 miles less a tank. expect to bleed out of your a** when you have to put fuel in it, im 20, so im constantly driving around with my buddies and such, i go through about 3 tanks of gas a week. i know, poor little jeep right? yea....

I hope not, I had an f350 w 351 windsor and a C6 auto trans with 8 inches of lift sitting on 38.5x15 swampers that was almost twice as heavy that got 7mpg in the city, but it still got about 12 on the highway.
