Can anyone tell me what the typical mpg is for a 4 banger with slightly larger than stock tires is?

Without more information like he said^^^^ it will be somewhere between 10 and 23 mpg.

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!

Don't have a 4 banger, got the 4.0 and I get about 18 on a good day. I just blame it on the fact that I have the aerodynamics of a box on wheels.

Mpg

Have an '00 with a 2.5L, Rock-It air tube and filter, 5 speed, and 30" tires. With midgrade gas I get 20-22 all the time and 23-26 on the highway.

I never got below 20mpg w/ my old '71 CJ5 w/ the V6 Dauntless (4 spd),

and have gotten from 22-24mpg w/ my new (to me) '00 4.0 Sport (3.73 w/ 235/75-15 tires and 5 speed).

I DO drive very conservatively (think "Old Fart", and this is on rural 2 lanes w/ VERY little in-town driving.

That said I do not always get great mileage on everything-my last FJ-40 in primo shape never gave me better than 15mpg no matter WHAT I tried.
