Gear Change

Hello everyone,
I am in school, going to York Tech in Rock Hill, SC and I am in a drivetrain class in the fall, and my instructor said we could do a gear change for my Jeep in the class. He said I would need the ring and pinion and something else, can't remember, but would any of you know?

I would rather spend the money for parts than spending the money for parts and labor. Besides, it is for school and a learning experience.

Thanks

Randy's Ring and Pinion. You will need the ring and pinion, bearings and seals (optional). The master install kit will normally come with the bearings, but usually not the seals.

Oh yeah, what ratio are you going to? Not sure how low (numerically higher) you can go with the stock carrier. Sounds like a great time to install a locker to me.
