Do you want disc or drum? LSD or open? There is a cutoff on the Explorer/Mountaineer for drums or discs. Finding the LSD 4.10 is a good one... I mostly see 3.73's at the boneyard.

Are you doing the work yourself or having somebody fab it up for you?

There is a sticky at the top of this forum in the TJ section. It tell you everything you need to know about the 8.8 swap and what explorers to look for. I just got a 8.8 from a 98 Explorer with a 3.73 limited slip. I am about to regear to 4.88s.
Good luck with it,
Chris
