Gearing Question?

Okay. I have a '99 Tj Sport 4.0L, which has 3.07s in D30/D35. What would be the best gears to get for daily driving and "very" limited trail riding? I am taking it to college and need something that'll allow me to not be just golf cart on the highway haha. No rock climbing or anything too serious. I am on a limited budget, and kinda want to just upgrade the axles I have now, maybe get a 8.8. RC sells kits for complete overhauls for $469. Would this be a good start? Oh and I am planning on running 33's.

I really feel your the one to decide what you need now and can live with now .
The Idle gears will be different for what you need the jeep to do .
You don,t need to be running 65 mph and 3000 rpm,s to get to school ??

Yea I understand. But from what Ive read, 33s with 3.07 are pretty bad. So I atleast want to be able to run at a somewhat good speed.
