gears

I put a 3" suspension and a 1 " body lift on my 04 unlimited. It is a automatic , with 373 stock gears. i also have 33 10.5 15 tires. does any one have a sugestion what gears to use?

right now im running the same setup as u..

except i dont have my 33s mounted yet..

i was recommended 4.56s

and they will be good up to 34s if you ever decide to bump it up a little bit

Well with the auto 4.10's would probably put you back to stock, but I don't think it'd be worth it to spend the money. So if you want to re-gear then you'd be better off just going with 4.56 or 4.88 and be done with it.

I went with 4.56. I'm getting about 14mpg and my power's back.

how about a 3 speed auto and 31's?? is 3.73 good enough? keepin in mind i have a factoyr 35 with 3.07s

Tell you the truth I'm still running 3.73's with my auto and 35's. I just swore to myself it would be pointless to gear the D30. With my 4:1 and auto I really like my gearing for crawling and street driving. I'll go to something lower when I put the 44 in my front end here soon.

So yeah 31's and auto and 3.73's are just fine.

Yeah sure. Why don't you just go ahead and order 2 sets. I'll pm you my login to use my paypal.

I'm gonna upgrade to a front 44 here in the next few months (before JV), just a Rubicon housing with all the goodies. I'll get it from Joe. However I have been trying to PM a local guy that I found on Pirate selling a HP44 8 lug front setup for a Wrangler for 900 bucks. I'll go that route and just convert it to my wheel pattern or change the rears.
