gears

right now im running 33x12.50's on stock gearing. im am looking to regear in a couple weeks. ive read a lot about 4.56 being the optimal gear for a 33, but im thinking at some point i may want to jump up to a 35. my question is would it be torture on me and my jeep to go ahead and get 4.88's? thanks for the help guys

Try this, it should give you all the info you need. I'm not that familiar with the NSG370??

You have the nsg370 close ratio if you're using that calculator btw

Crawl ratio is 59.20:1 which is pretty good

freeway speeds will probably suffer a bit since you'll be turning ~2700 RPMs at 65mph.. And I doubt you'll use first gear much, but you'll have a lot of power..
