Gears

So I have been trying to decide if I want to do gears next or dump some money into on board air and a tire carrier/rear bumper. Since I picked up my jeep I added zone 3 inch lift with 5100 and will be doing the BL and MML this weekend. I am running soft 8s with 33/12.5 duratracs.
The jeep has 3.73 in it now and I feel in tight spots the gearing is way to high in the woods. I am aware 4.56s is the proper gears to run. The only way I can do any type of crawling is with 4 low engaged. And even that seems kinda fast.
Would gears be your next upgrade or would you go for the on board air and place for the spare first. Since that would allow me to air up and down easier and to carry my spare safer.

I plan on doing it all in the next couple weeks.

I just got my jeep back today. Went from 4.10 to 4.88's. I feel a difference but not really that much. I am going to say that you can wheel with not perfect gearing. But you need air and a spare to get you home. Safety first always.

Agreed. I run 33x12.5 with 3.73. I have a 5 speed and it does fine, just can use 5th unless going down a hill.
