Gears, lockers, super 35 kit installed

I got my Jeep back from the shop this weekend. I was running 33's with the factory 3.07. I upgraded the rear axle with a super 35 kit and a locker. The front axle got a locker and all around I went with 4.88's for future plans of 35's. I love it!!!! I had no idea what I was missing out on. I'm pumped up about my next big ride.

Only concern I have is the speedometer, it is way off. When I am running 55mph, it reads like 80mph. Will this level out when I installl the 35's? Also, should I go ahead and fix the speedo so that I don't rack up extra miles? From and earlier post I read, I assumed the Jeep would think it is going further than it really is, is this true? Please help me out with some advise on how to handle the situation.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR SUGGESTING THE 4.88. AWESOME!!!

Here's how to correct your speedometer... http://www.4x4xplor.com/speedo.html Click on the speedometer gear chart but it'll tell you that you need a 41 tooth speedometer gear to recalibrate your speedometer so it's accurate with 33" tires and 4.88 gearing. When you go to 35" tires, simply swap in a 39 tooth gear which takes all of 3-4 minutes.

x2 on that one.

Wouldn't worry too much about racking up the milage...unless you aren't planning on getting the 35's for a LONG time...

Enjoy the lockers...you'll love 'em!

Just curious, how much did the super 35 kit, locker, and geaers run you? Thinking about similar solutions
