glad i have a tough jeep

So i got rear ended today and it didnt hurt the jeep. The stupid lady drove off so now the cops have her tag number for a hit and run. I pulled over and when she didnt i followed her and she got out at a stop sign and yelled me and her exact words were "do you have a f@#$*&! proplem" I just kind of laughed and said yeah you just hit me. Then she found it smart to just drive off. I thought i would share because i thought it was funny.

Glad you're ok but I would've followed that bitch to the end of the earth while on the phone to the police. Did they take a report and give you the report #? If you really want to screw her over claim some bodily injury...whiplash is a good one. It'll change that misdeamenor hit and run to a felony.

A couple days ago someone was right behind me and barely nudged my spare. I looked in the rear view and saw it was a lady texting while driving. I didn't report her but I did get behind her and honk a couple times

Texting is as dangerous as drunk driving and ought to carry the same penalty.

Surprisingly there isn't a dent. The spare saved me. I don't know many trails around Birmingham but there are some great trails in brookwood. I go on some trails next to Sokol park all the time since I live so close to them.

That's reasonable. Do her and society a favor and make her learn something from this. She may have nevcer been held accountable for anything before.

If it were me, all it would've taken was a simple apology and I would've been fine with it. Some people are crazy

People that commit hit and run don't apologize...that's like asking someone that smacked you in the face to say they're sorry. Even if she did apologize she would only be sorry that she got caught.

she got out at a stop sign and yelled me and her exact words were "do you have a f@#$*&! proplem"

Doesn't that make you just want to reach out and touch someone that acts like that when THERY'RE the reason there's a problem? Man, that kind of stuff ticks me off to no end!

IMO, the world is over populated and we to start thinning the herd. People like this and crooks { including politicians } are a great place to start.

States that have enacted texting while driving laws have seen increases in incidents due to texting. Now people are texting and trying to hide it...

Laws seldom work without unintended consequences.

yeah when she asked that i kind of just starred for a minute because of how stupid the question was.
And redrover tennessee has a texting law and i agree i think people try and hide it more and pay less attention. i drive on the interstate every day during rush hour and it amazes me how many people that are not paying attention because apparently there phone is more important than the road.

Red, that reminds me of the red light cameras they had here to cut down on people running red lights and causing accidents. They found that accidents actually went up due to people slamming on their brakes for a yellow light and getting rear ended.

Stupid people are everywhere. It just seems like most of them are on the road.

Study for your written test, take a driving test, get your license, and you are done for life.

Makes no sense.

I haul hazardous materials on the road I share with these idiots. I have to re-test every 5 years for my hazmat license. I think it should be the same for a regular driver's license.

The system is flawed.

Glad you and the Jeep are ok though. Hope she gets a hefty fine at least and learns something, before she kills somebody next time.

*Because* it was someone texting, I'd have made the biggest deal possible about it. "I'm not a bodywork expert; this thing is going to go to a shop to be checked out, and while I feel ok now, I'm headed to the ER to be checked out."

I agree. All the basic drivers license test should be good for is driving to work/school and to the grocery store. There should be special test required to drive sports cars, or any vehicle that has been modified, whether lifted, lowered, or added power. Finally the big one is there should be a test before you're allowed to teach a new driver how to drive, its the dumbest thing in the world that people that can barely drive themselves are allowed to teach just because they are a certain age it makes them responsible.
