Glasspack question

Im in the market for a new muffler for my TJ and just outta curiosity, has anyone ever heard a jeep with a glasspack? and what size would fit?

yes... quite a few have them... and depeding on the year... u might have to change your pipe all the way back from the muffler... once u are under the jeep u will understand... U want the smallest cherry bomb glass pack... 2 1/4 if i remember right... and they do sound good... gives it a good rumble...

Be aware that glasspacks on Gov't land, BLM, Forestry, Monuments, Parks etc is illegal - unless you have a separate spark arrester behind it. The fine is pretty hefty.
Actually any straight through muffler is. Sparks go right through. And in many counties they are illegal on the street - for noise and sparks.
It's no wonder the country is falling apart - stupidity abounds!

I have a glasspack on my TJ. It sound perfect IMO. I cut off the stock set up about 6-8 inches after the the cat,and welded on the glasspack and put a down pipe on it.Sounds good looks nice. Plus i dont have the stock big,dumb and ugly pipe coming out the ass end off my Jeep lookin bad and getting destroyed on the trails

I put a Flowmaster 40 on my TJ 4.0
I like the way it sounds, I know youtube links have been posted before, might try a search to hear what it sounds like?
