going to put the center skid plate safty cap kit but have a qustion

Going to repair my center frame with the safty cap kit. I want to know do i have to disconnet the fuel line to do the work. Is there any other way i can do the work without disconneting the fuel line.

The fuel and brake lines can be separated from the clips and pulled away from the frame to provide the necessary clearance, but for safety sake considering there is sure to be welding involved it is not a big deal to remove at least the main fuel line. There are quick connects on both ends to facilitate removal.

The fuel line is always pressurized so be careful when you separate the fittings.
