Those threadrights are interesting, when they come in its like new tires right? Its still $1k for a nice set of 35s lol but then again thats shipped too

They take a tire that is worn down on the tread (but the carcass is still in good condition) and recap the tire with new tread. Similar process to how they would do it for semi tires but it's a better process. I bought one tire from them for my spare. I can't vouch for a set of four but I've seen them used in a couple of my off-road magazines.

I have over 100k on my 30x9.5 BFG AT's. Going with them again very soon. They are worth every cent.
Retired my 94 YJ 4cyl 5spd @ 200K
Now in a 04 TJ 4cyl 5spd CV @120K+
Both as a commuter vehicle in NW, NJ
April 2012.downsized and now a 99er.

Posts: 2,362 on here it shows $152 a piece plus 25 shipping to me so 175 x4 is 700 plus mount and balance. 2 year 24000 mile warranty and 19/32 of tread to start. Not too shabby.
Violence may not be the answer but it sure cuts down on the stupid questions

I got a great deal with a coupon code from JC Whitney on some 31" Mickey Thompson MTZ tires. There is also a $100 rebate on a set of four of these tires.

Good and cheap don't usually work well together on tires.
