You have to pull the C clips from inside the pumpkin.

Did you buy the entire assemblies or just the shafts and lockers/gears?

Either way, if the locker and Truetrac are in good shape I think you got a good deal. I hope you're running aftermarket chromoly shafts in that Dana 35.

As far as the gears go, do you know how to install them? I've heard (and experienced) that used gears will whine once removed and re-installed.

If you got both axles and the internals you got a good deal. If they are set to the ratio you want you got an even sweeter deal. That is how I got the ARB in my rear Dana 35. Someone set it up and then upgraded to a Dana 44. They let the axle with the ARB installed so cheap that I could not pass it up. I have since upgraded the axle shafts to chromolly ones and so far I have not had a problem. The c-clips are in there, but they are inside the locker. You will need to dig a little bit to find them.

I am not familiar with that brand of locker so I would try and download a user manual and it will show you in there. It took a little time to get into my ARB when I put the chromolly axles in there. Maybe someone with that locker will chime in?

Pull all the brake components off around the axle. Most likely there is a 1/2" pin that goes through the middle of the locker or there was on my ARB. Remove that pin and the axle shaft will be able to move just barely towards the center enough to remove the c-clip and then the whole axle will pull right out.

They should just slide off as nothing holds them in place except the shoulder around the clip.

I would save everything until they are installed you may need something off them. You can always take the stuff to the yard later.

May want to call tech support, I am not familiar with that locker or start a new thread with the exact question on that locker.
