So far I have it there, I obviously can't drive with it there because it would easily get caught in my wheel. Basically what I know is it can't cover break lights or license plate, and due to military respect not put it on the tire carrier because it touches the tire. Other then that I can't think of any other place to mount it!? Sorry for the picture, added 3 times.

I zip tie the flag pole to the role cage, it's kind of ghetto rigged but it works for me lol

I welded a 5" long piece of heavy wall square tube to my spare tire carrier. I then drilled and tapped the side of it and welded up a "T" bolt. Slide the flag pole into the tube, tighten the "T" bolt and roll. It doubles as a shovel holder too

Check out the Foreverwave roll bar flags. A bit pricey but a nice option for flag mounting.

I had it on my roll bar for awhile, and I talked to some veterans and they found it disrespectful to have it touching the back tire because of how easily it gets torn up back there. So therefore I took it off.

Hmmm, I can see their point but it's the flag flyers responsibility to replace the flag when it's no longer serviceable.
