I think he's talking about a true 35x12.5.. They come in metric sizes that are close to a 35 which is what your probably thinking of

I'm talking for a 15" wheel, like on a tj. biggest size is a 33. On the 16" and up wheels there nothing that says 35" tires, and even though some tires may come close, they still won't be "35x12.50" tires. here's the link str8 from GoodYear: Wrangler DuraTrac | Goodyear Tires
check it yourself.

Well worth the money, I have Duratrac's on my tj and my silverado, wife drove the pick up 70 miles a day though two Maine winters so far, never had a problem. If you drive smart they will get you through it.... and the tires have been on year round, at about half tread now. I have no complaints. Did get a wee bit louder as they wore, but i like it!

Just an obsevation! They have a metric that measures 34.8x12.3x16. The one advertized as a 31" is only 30.8x10.6X15. Looks like it is as close to 35 as the 31 is. But it's "not" a 15" tire.

I think that's just a jeep thing. Lol. I have GT all terrains and they do it too

Just bought a set today, (new wheels too), and found them to be WAYYYY better than the Goodyear Wrangler whatevers I had... very quiet on road, ride is much improved. Not sure how much of this is excitement on my part, but I'm impressed

My 33x12.50x15s were $155/tire after a couple of rebates.

$100 off if you join Tread Lightly! If you are ordering 15"s they're much more reasonable. www.Treadepot.com had them the cheapest I found.

I just called them because they dont list duratracs on their site...they do have a good price and I asked the guy about the $100 off that you mentioned and he had no idea what I was talking about.

You have to send in a mail-in-rebate. Go to treadlightly.org, individual memberships, join, download print mail in rebate form.

Thanks, I joined but can't find the link to the Goodyear discount. Maybe it'll come with the welcome pack.

I hate to do this but I need an answer on BSing....I like the wider stance look of a Jeep. I have been quoted 2 different BS on the same wheel from different vendors.
1 has the wheel I want with 4.5 BS and the other has the same wheel but with 3.75 BS.
I have the canyon wheel on there right now with a 265/75/15 tire and it's WAY to tucked in for my liking.

TIA

most wheels come with multiple options for back spacing.. that is likely what happend there.. Go with the 3.75 IMO

New Duratracs and ABS kept some woman from having to eat my winch and front bumper for breakfast after she spun across three lanes this morning on slushy snow packed roads.
