I sliced one of my duratracs. Well see if I can slice a MTR. To be far I put many cuts in my duratracs all over the state of PA and had no issues. I drive right into a rock underwater that looked like a giant razor blade, and that's what killed it. It would have sliced an MTR, and I have several friends who agree with that. I put a good 14 inch cut in the duratrac
Both tires perform well, I actually like how soft and sticky the duras are. The MTRs are supposed to be good as well, but mine are a bit older than my duratracs so I can't give them a fair comparison. they certaining aren't as good in snow, but could be siped. They do pretty well in mud, and great in rock etc.
