Got a Question about the roll Bar (Pics Added)

Ok well if any of you have read the new member board you know I bout a jeep that was in an accident. In case you didnt I will tell the story The old owner of the jeep was driving home and got tapped by a car on the left rear tire which spun the Right rear into a pole. When I originally looked at it I didn't think it was that bad. Now I have noticed the roll bar is bent in on the right side not to bad but it is enough to make me mad. Does anybody know a good way to pull it? Let me describe it the top is leaning to the left side and the bottom of the roll bar is to the left side a little. I was thinking about using a piece of wood and a pole jack and trying to push it back into place what do the rest of you think of that idea. Or if you have any ideas please let me know I don't have that much money left after buying it so I am trying to do it the cheap way. Thanks for you time.

Jay

Its funny you mention that because I have called probably 15 yards by my house and no one has jeeps I dont know why I have been hearing rumors about this mysterious junk yard that only has jeeps in it but I don't know about that.

Junk it and get either one from the junk yard or get an aftermarket but do not bend it back.

I have the same problem with the junk yards around where I live. I have tried to go to a few Pull-A-Parts but they usually dont have any Wranglers at all, they only seem to have Cherokees. I would still try to go out and find one than trying to bend it back, good luck

You're not gonna be able to bend it back, look for a replacement. Either install a new cage or get one out of a junkyard.

Go for replacement. Cages are kinda meant as a one time deal. For better safety replace it. As mentioned, local salvage yard or www.jeepsareus.com may be able to help. Heck, even scour the Jeep forums online in the for sale sections. People are adding aftermarket stuff all the time.

Never mind I see that now "Frame and Roll Bar are bent" my bad! But if any one needs any other parts, they are there!

You can always convince your neighbor to upgrade his roll bar and give you his old one

How do you come up with this stuff? To say you are guessing the frame is bent is one thing, to just come out and say the frame is bent is quite another.
