Got some air this morning!

First to start, everyone is ok!

6:45am, 4 lane road, 2 lanes for each direction. I was in the right, and a 2008 F150 in the left. We both went through the yellow light. She must have thought I stopped for the light to change red, but who knows for sure. She tried to merge into my lane right after we passed the intersection, which I have to assume she didn't even bother to look. She closed in on me fast and I sounded the horn. My front driver tire rubbed against her back passenger tire. She pushed me off the road and she almost went sideways. We were both going about 50 mph at the time.

She pushed me into a driveway for a drug store which had a rounded curb towards the end of the "bonnet". See picture below. I hit the curb going about 40mph, my driver tire hit the curb, and I went soaring into some guys yard. Looking at the tire tracks, I flew about 15-20 feet.

No one was hurt, no serious body damage to either vehicle. I drove it 9 more miles to work and things didnt seem to be any worse then before.

What things should I look at that might fail at such a scenario? Everything seems tight, and no shaking is apparent.

Crazy thing is, I dreamed of this last night. Deja vu.

You better buy a lottery ticket because you are lucky. You couldn't have missed that pole by much...

Whichever tires went over that curb, check those rims. I bent one of mine going over a curb and getting some air.

I didnt even see the pole behind the bush until AFTER i came to a stop. Based on my angle and trajectory, I must of been less than three feet from that pole.

The other thing I noticed right away was that she had a baby car seat in the back of her cab. Thank goodness there was no child in the car.

I'll definitely check the Control arms and rims once I get off work in a few, and Ill post back later.

I had someone tell me that, "there was someone special riding shotgun with you that moment". Considering what COULD have happened, im very fortunate to be safe and in one piece.

Glad everyone is okay. Did the woman even stop after running you off the road?

Check that front end out very throughly and if you got insurance info off of her I'd definitely take it to a shop for a through going over. There's a lot of stuff under there to mess up from hitting a curb at speed.

Hahaha that was too funny.

Well everything looks good. Control arms look good, and the rims are all in good shape. My shocks are the only thing that might have been affected. The driver side shock is easy to move(I mean the outer casing, not like it's loose from the towers), and the passenger side is leaking. I have been planning on a lift soon with in the next 3 weeks so maybe it's more justified now lol.
