First to start, everyone is ok!
6:45am, 4 lane road, 2 lanes for each direction. I was in the right, and a 2008 F150 in the left. We both went through the yellow light. She must have thought I stopped for the light to change red, but who knows for sure. She tried to merge into my lane right after we passed the intersection, which I have to assume she didn't even bother to look. She closed in on me fast and I sounded the horn. My front driver tire rubbed against her back passenger tire. She pushed me off the road and she almost went sideways. We were both going about 50 mph at the time.
She pushed me into a driveway for a drug store which had a rounded curb towards the end of the "bonnet". See picture below. I hit the curb going about 40mph, my driver tire hit the curb, and I went soaring into some guys yard. Looking at the tire tracks, I flew about 15-20 feet.
No one was hurt, no serious body damage to either vehicle. I drove it 9 more miles to work and things didnt seem to be any worse then before.
What things should I look at that might fail at such a scenario? Everything seems tight, and no shaking is apparent.
Crazy thing is, I dreamed of this last night. Deja vu.
