Got Winch?

Hey all and Happy Jeeping! I am looking at getting a reliable but not too pricey winch. I mainly want it for that just in case moment when on the trail. Any advice will be appreciated. If you guys have any recomendations, I will gladly listen. Thanks again.

X2 on the Warn suggestion, I don't trust those cheap Chinese winches like Smittybilt pushes. If you're stuck and need a winch, you need to be able to rely on it.

What website sells the Warn M8000 for the best price? I have a winch plate already..

And has anybody heard of recon winches? They are all over ebay!

I like Warn. Great product, great warranty, great history. Worth the $$

I am on the Warn bandwagon too. Wouldn't trust my life to any other winch.

It's just another cheap Chinese winch. Importers are flooding the market with them after throwing American-sounding names on them.

I hate to say it but as of last year's email to me from Superwinch, the only Jeep size Superwinch products still made in the US are the X9 and S9000. A Superwinch rep confirmed that to me last year.
