Gotta give an "attaboy" to 4wd hardware and 4wheel parts.com

about 2 mos. ago i bought a Bestop no drill header. just got around to buying a safari top and when i installed it, the no drill header had a flaw in it that would push the top out of the channel. after 2 calls one to 4WD hardware and one to bestop i have a new Bestop no drill header comming to me and i do not even have to send the damaged one back really good customer service

NICE!!!

I know on ours, it had a channel inside the windshield frame that didn't let the header fit correctly. Popped it off and the header dropped right into place.

Only had two small problems. The plastic end channels on the header didn't line up with the channel metal portion, no biggie taking a screw driver and tweaking them.

The other was getting the corners of the safari top to stay in place, was like they didn't like to make the bend, and would pop back out. Fixed that today.

Nice hot day. Installed the corners back in, then tool a ratchet strap across the front of the top, and under the roll bars inside. Cinched it down tight. It held the corners in place.

Sun got the plastic keepers good and warm and they formed right up.
Pulled the jeep in the garage (it's air conditioned) to let it cool back down.

Pulled the strap off and a perfect fit now.

Inside the frame? I can't really get my header to fit straight and snug. There is the rubber strip across the top. I'm wondering if that has to be there
It doesn't leak or anything so I'm not worried about it too much.

I live in Denver CO and we have 2 locations for 4 Wheel Parts. They are very friendly (even after purchase!) and helpful. Full of info and don't act like you are wasting their time.

I deal with one rep. for all my orders with 4wd and I receive discounts free shipping to my house and phone calls to update me with my orders. I have had great service from them. But like you say it depends on who you get.

Two different people on two different days- very poor treatment. Over 3k in purchase to date and not a penny more with them.
